QST-FORMAT 1.5 est un petit utilitaire permettant de formater 
rapidement sur PC une disquette 720 ko compatible Atari ST.
 
Une fois formaté, vous pourrez ainsi telecharger sur le net vos logiciels
Atari ST (fichiers d'origine, pas les images disque) et les copier sur disquette.
 
Attention le logiciel formate uniquement les disquettes double face /
double densité 720k (FAT12). Pas les 1.44 Mo.
 
Pour formater des disquettes HD 1.44Mo en 720ko, vous devrez masquer
le trou à gauche de votre disquette, avec un adhesif (en dessous et au dessus), 
sinon la disquette ne sera pas reconnu comme une 720k.
 
Les lecteurs de disquette USB ne sont pas compatibles. 
(ou très partiellement, ne permettant pas ensuite la lecture correcte sur Atari ST). 
 
Compatible avec les lecteurs de disquette interne uniquement
(controleur FDD et connecteur 34 broches sur la carte mère).
 
Le logiciel est directement exécutable depuis la disquette, mais il est préférable 
de copier le dossier QST-FORMAT n'importe où sur disque dur, puis lancer
QST-FORMAT.EXE.
 
Fonctionne sous Windows XP (32bits), Win7 (32/64bits) et Win10 (32 et 64bits).
Ne fonctionne pas sous Win95/98/Me/2000.
 
Contenu : 1x disquette (1.44mo).

QST-FORMAT 1.5 is a small utility for quickly formatting a 720KB Atari ST compatible floppy disk on PC.

Once formatted, you can download your Atari ST software from the
internet(original files, not disk images) and copy them to the floppy disk.

Note that the software only formats double-sided/dual-density 720KB
(FAT12) floppy disks. It does not format 1.44MB disks.

To format 1.44MB HD disks to 720KB, you will need to cover the hole
on the left side of your disk with tape  (both above and below). Otherwise,
the disk will not be recognized as a 720KB disk.

USB floppy drives are not compatible (or only partially compatible,
preventing proper reading on an Atari ST).

Compatible with internal floppy disk drives only (FDD controller and
34-pin connector on the motherboard).
 
The software can be run directly from the floppy disk, but it is preferable
to copy the QST-FORMAT folder to any location on the hard drive,
then run QST-FORMAT.EXE.
 
Works with Windows XP (32bits) , Win7 (32/64bits) et Win10 (32/64bits).
Does not work on Win95/98/Me/2000.
